I was born in Jagadhari – a small town in Haryana (India) in 1986. I have done my schooling from Slapper (Kullu), Hisar (Haryana), Ambala (Haryana) and Chandigarh (Haryana). I was an average child (in academics) till my 10th standard after which I got interested in Mathematics which helped me clearing my IIT exams as well as Mathematics Olympiad (INMO – pre IMO).
I opted doing Electronics Engineering from IIT Delhi and bagged department rank 1 during my first two semesters of curriculum. Somehow I started losing my interest in academic courses and started finding Robotics very exciting. I joined IITD Robocon team and had very exciting time being a part. I even remember dreaming about robots a couple of times. This was the same time when I met first girl of my life (yes! after twenty years). Slowly I started getting interested into web world and was really excited by how fast and intelligently problems can be solved using cloud technologies.
I got my campus job in Chartered Semiconductor (Singapore) but I was not convinced with what exactly I will be doing as part of this organization. My interest for web-world was growing a lot and I made my decision that I have to do something big in here. So, I joined SMSGupShup (SMS based community co-founded by Beerud Sheth – Elance co-founder and Rakesh Mathur – the Amazon Guy). I quit the job after December, 2008 and since then I have been very busy in life working for organizations in variety of projects. Will update what next very soon.
